About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, working closely with teachers and SEND staff to create a positive and engaging learning experience.
Your day-to-day responsibilities could include:
- Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Encouraging participation in lessons and school activities.
- Assisting with personalised learning programmes.
- Helping pupils develop social skills and emotional resilience.
- Promoting independence and self-confidence.
- Supporting positive behaviour strategies.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and families where appropriate.
