Affinity Workforce Solutions is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of primary and secondary schools in Bristol, Keynsham, and surrounding areas.

The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs. You may support children on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, or within the classroom environment.
You will be supporting pupils with:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties
- Additional educational and behavioural needs
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND.
- Support learning and engagement both inside and outside the classroom.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Implement personalised learning and behaviour support plans.
- Promote independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and mental health development.
- Assist with classroom activities and interventions.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and families where appropriate.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
